Shea R. Taylor

Shea Taylor is a parter, founder, and co-owner of Open Source Tailors along with his three brothers.

Shea received his start in the IT industry 9 years ago while working his way through college at Brigham Young University as an assistant account representative at Propeller, Inc. Propeller was a direct VAR for Toshiba Computer Systems that handled enterprise accounts such as Oracle and Peoplesoft. A couple years later, he was offered a senior sales position from one of Propeller's competitors, Calculated Research and Technology. Here, he remained for five years where he was schooled in a breadth of IT solutions and learned to wear both the hat of a salesperson and the hat of a technician. He became very proficient in the architecture, design, and implementation of x86 based datacenter solutions.

After graduating from BYU with a BA in Economics, he was offered a position with Denver based Solutions-II. Here, with his knowledge of the x86 environment, he built a successful business segment within Solutions-II while expanding his knowledge of IBM enterprise solutions including I-Series, P-Series, and Storage. He also gained invaluable training and knowledge of various Business Continuity strategies using industry-emerging technologies such as virtualization.

Shea believes in building customers for life by providing old-fashioned customer service and being fair and honest in all transactions.

Shea resides in Northern Utah County with his wife, twin boys and baby girl. He is fluent in Portuguese and conversant in Spanish.
